September Fall Festival!

Under the threatening skies of a fast moving storm the first Fall American Falls Birding Festival was held on September 28, 2014.  Although a bit damp our group of fifteen birders had a great time were able to spot twenty one species of birds in a big morning of birding.

Dr. Chuck Trost was our guest speaker and told us about how  and why American Falls is such a great bird resource for birders world wide and Todd Winters did a presentation on bird feeders and how to feed the birds over the winter months.

Western State Oilseeds, one of our major sponsors enabled us to have door prices and install a very nice bird feeder at the public library.  The bird feeder will be used kids program to learn about birds! Thanks so much Bill and Vicki!
